Click here for a handy guide to measuring yourself for a new bikini top or bra

In general, sizes in the UK and Europe tend to be fairly accurate, so if you are normally a size 12, the go for the size 12 bikini if you are shopping in the UK. If you are shopping in Europe, then that translates to a size 38. However, there are slight exceptions to this, so if you normally shop in French, Italian, Australian or USA sizes then use the table below to work out the best size for you

Boys & Mens Sizing
If you are buying for a male, whether man or boy, then the general rule of thumb is to look for the size closest to the trouser waist size. The problem is that in some places sizes are listed in inches whereas in other places they might be listed in small, medium, large etc. Generally though, you will find that a small mans waist works out to about 32 inches, medium a 34 and so on. A small boy’s waste would be about 24 inches, a medium 26 inches and so on.
